Troponin I High Sensitivity

Clinical Decription:
As the only troponin isotype present in the myocardium, troponin I has been used as a reliable marker in the diagnosis of myocardial infarction. As the troponin I value increases, the risk of mortality also increases. Measuring troponin I provides useful prognostic information for evaluating patients with unstable angina.
