N-Acetyl-beta-glucosaminidase
(NAG)

Clinical Decription:
This assay is based on 3-Cresolulfonphthaleinyl-N-acetyl-B-D-glucosaminide, sodium salt, being hydrolyzed by N-acetyl-B-D-glucosaminidase (NAG) with the release of 3-cresolsulfonphthalein, sodium salt (3-cresol purple), which is measured photometrically at 580 nm.
