Clinical Decription:
The detection of Endomysial antibodies EMA aids in the diagnosis of gluten sensitive enteropathy, ie. Celiac Disease (CD) and dermatitis herpetiformis (DH). Celiac patients on a gluten free diet will have reduced levels of EMA, or none at all.
