Used to identify HLA antibodies present in a patient’s serum, typically for transplantation or the transfusion of HLA-matched platelets in refractory patients.

Shipping: If >24 hrs, ship frozen at -20C
Special Instructions: Collect in a container tube with no additive (Red or Gold serum separator). Send samples within 24 hrs between RT and 4C. If sent after 24 hrs Samples should be centrifuged, aliquotted, frozen at -20C and shipped on ice Monday - Thursday. Please see link to requisitions if ordering from outside of UHN.
