Retinoblastoma (RB1)

		Retinoblastoma is a malignant tumour of the developing retina that occurs in children usually before the age of 5.  Individuals with a personal and/or family history of retinoblastoma may be eligible for genetic testing.  Note: This is a blood test for individuals with retinoblastoma to determine a hereditary cause.  It is not a tumour test for somatic gene variants that provide diagnostic, prognostic or therapeutic information.
