JAK2 (Exon12+Exon14 p.V617F)/CALR(MPD)

Clinical Decription:
Genomic mutations in JAK2 and CALR are common in myeloproliferative neoplasms such as essential thrombocythemia, polycythemia vera and and primary myelofibrosis. Specifically the JAK2 p.Val617Phe variant and insertion and deletions in exon 12 of JAK2 and CALR. Targeted PCR analysis can detect these genomic changes to help with the diagnosis of a myeloproliferative neoplasm.
