Clinical Decription:
The HER2 test is a tumor marker test that determines the number of copies of the HER2 gene. It is performed on a tissue sample by fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH). HER2 for endometrial tumours is performed after an equivocal immunohistochemistry test for HER2 protein expression.
