Clinical Decription:
Relative and absolute counts of T-lymphocytes expressing CD3, CD4 and/or CD8 antigens, as well as CD4:CD8 ratio. These values are commonly used to identify an immunodeficiency state or to monitor the efficacy of treatment in patients with HIV infection or other diseases affecting the immune system.
