Lymphocyte Subset Enumeration
(CD3/CD4/CD8/CD19/CD16/CD56, TBNK, Flow Cytometry)

Clinical Decription:
Relative and absolute counts of major lymphocyte subsets, T cells, B cells and NK cells. T cells and their subsets are enumerated by expression of CD3, CD4 and/or CD8 antigens (report include CD4:CD8 ratio). B cells are enumerated by expression of CD19. NK cells are enumerated by expression of CD16/CD56. These values are commonly used to identify an immunodeficiency state or to monitor the efficacy of treatment in patients with HIV infection or other diseases affecting the immune system.

Method: Flow Cytometry; BD FACS Lyric
