(Anti-tissue transglutaminase, anti-deamindate gladin)

Clinical Decription:
Celiac profile will test for anti-tissue transglutaminase (anti-tTG) IgA antibodies.If an IgA deficiency is detected (total IgA levels <0.07g/L), testing for anti-tTg IgG and anti-deamidated gliadin peptide (DGP) IgG antibodies will be automatically performed. If the patient is known to be IgA deficient, “Celiac profile (IgA deficient)” can be ordered to obtain results solely for the IgG autoantibodies.
