Clinical Decription:
Cyclosporine is used in transplant patients to prevent organ rejection. Toxic side effects include primarily nephrotoxicity and hepatotoxicity, as well as diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, hypertension, and others.

Special Instructions: Optimum sampling time is trough level just prior to next dose. For C2 levels: Optimum sampling time is the peak level 2 hour after dose. Do not centrifuge sample.
