Hepatitis B Surface Antibody assay can be used to monitor the success of Hepatitis B vaccination, as well as the convalescence and recovery from Hepatitis B infection. Detection of anti-HBs in an asymptomatic individual may also indicate previous exposure to Hepatitis B virus.
